Mr Peter Aldous
Peter was elected as Member of Parliament for Waveney in 2010. Before entering Parliament, he was employed as a Chartered Surveyor in Norwich and Ipswich. Peter is Vice Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group of Further Education and Lifelong Learning and Member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Sixth Forms. He has been both a Waveney District Councillor and a Suffolk County Councillor, where he was Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group. Peter relaxes by following most sports and has been an Ipswich Town season ticket holder for many years. A keen squash player, when not working, he looks to be on court most evenings at the Beccles Sports Centre.
Mr Steven Burton
Steven has a long and extensive background in the banking and finance sector and has recently retired from the post of Global Head of Resourcing, MI and Analytics with Barclays Bank PLC and is Volunteer Team Leader for the charity Caudwell Children. Steven is also an accredited trainer and holds a Certificate in Occupational Testing from the British Psychological Society.
Mr Mark Chapman
Mark is employed as Finance Manager at Woodlands Primary School in Bradwell, Great Yarmouth and is the former Chair of Governors of Sir John Leman High School. Mark has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Banking and Finance and is an Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Mark has an extensive working background in the Finance Sector, formerly holding the posts of Commercial Manager and Premier Relationship Manager for HSBC. He is a keen reader and has a particular interest in history and military history.
Mr Chris Harrod
Chris has vast Business and Management Expertise as Chief Executive of Harrod UK Ltd and holder of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFGM) training and PKF cost accounting and financial planning.
In his spare time, Chris’ hobbies include keeping fit, travelling, off road driving and Formula 1.
